From time to time we will offer program samples, white papers, guides, source code and even games from this page.  These things may be offered in different formats.  The download process may differ depending on the browser you are using (and it's version).  Scroll down for instructions on downloading with your browser.

Download Instructions:
1) Choose the file formate that you would like to 
   download.
2) If the download is a .doc file, there are 
   three possible outcomes after clicking on the 
   button or link.
	a) If you have IE and Word on your system, the
         document will open in your browser window.  To
         save the file to your hard drive; click 'File'
         on the menu bar, then choose 'Save As...' from
         the drop down menu, choose where you would like
         to save the file and click 'Save.'
	b) If you are using a newer browser that is not 
         IE, you will most likely get a dialog box that 
         will ask you if you would like to open the 
         document in Word or if you would like to save 
         the document.  Choose the save option and 
         follow the instructions.
	c) If you are using an older browser, or if neither 
         of the above two occur, you should simply see 
         a dialog box asking you if you would like to save 
         the document and where.  Follow the instructions 
         to save the document to your hard drive.
3) If the download is a .pdf file, the response of your
   browser will be similar to those in #2 above.
4) If the download is any other file the response of 
   your browser should be similar to #2c above.

This white paper has been written to dispell some myths about what makes a successful Web site. For example, many people think just having a Web site will increase their sales. Others assume that if their site is listed high with search engines, it will be successful. This paper will give you an idea of what REALLY makes a successful site.

Below you will find the white paper in three forms: html (Web page), .doc (Word document), .pdf (Acrobat Reader document).
